You’ll learn how to design efficient garden layouts, calculate planting dates for your growing zone, and choose sustainable, cost-effective seed starting methods that save you time and money.

Seeds are included with your class, so you can start immediately. You’ll receive a curated mix of vegetables, herbs, and flowers selected for northern growers.

During class, we’ll break down every step:

• Timing and Germination: Learn to count backward from your last frost date using our detailed seed-starting calendar.

• Germination Temperatures: Understand exactly what heat levels each crop needs to sprout successfully.

• Feeding and Watering: Discover when and how to nourish seedlings for strong, steady growth.

The live class will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 6:30 PM at The Valley Annex, 247 S Alaska St, Palmer, AK. If you’re unable to attend in person, your seeds will be mailed to you, and you’ll receive access to the full online version of the class.
