Tropical perennial that can be grown year round indoors or transplanted outside after all fear of frost (June 15 in Palmer, AK).

Peppers need to be started in late February or March in the far North. Soil temperature at germination is critical. Some like it hot…speed and increase germination with temperatures between 80 F-85 F. We have found germination is around day 16-21.

Sow seed 1/4″ deep and maintain a moist growing medium. If growing in containers: 5-10 gallon pot. Peppers should be pruned for proper air circulation.
